Werner Herzog Exhibit

The Werner Herzog exhibit, located in the Old Ice Warehouse, displayed pictures of Herzog, a famous director, on the sets of his movies. As you can see below, he travelled all over the world and met a whole variety of people and tribes who he worked with in making his movies. The exhibit had an extensive array of photographs, quotes, and short videos of dialogues and interviews with Herzog. I thoroughly enjoyed the vivid photographs, and the location of the exhibit in the Old Ice House was very fitting given the theme.

Contemporary Art Exhibit

Contemporary Art Exhibit

The contemporary art museum, located in the port near Warehouse C, contained many abstract contemporary pieces. Again, there were works of all different mediums displayed including an interesting light fixture display, as you can see in the final image below. This exhibit will keep you interest as you stare at the pieces of art and ponder what message, theme or story the artist is trying to convey.

This photography exhibit in the port contained many installations dating back to the 1970's, 80's and 90's done frequently in Black and White. It was very aesthetically pleasing and I particularly enjoyed the "Family Portrait" and "Faces" themed displays.
